Subject: Cpl. James M. Osman

Cpl. James M. Osman, 94th Infantry Division, 302nd Infantry Regiment, Company M passed away at age 69 on May 23, 1983 in Fort Worth, Texas. He was an Ex-POW from January 20, 1945 through April 2, 1945, interred first in Stalag XIIA in Limburg, Germany then on to Stalag IXB in Bad Orb, Germany.

He was captured in the city of Nennig, Germany during a massive counterattack, and was a heavy machine gunner. I would be grateful to hear from anyone who knew him.

I regret to inform you that my Dad, Milton Paul Miecznikoski passed on January 7, 2005.  Too damn soon.  I don't know all the details other than he was in the 94th division, L376.

I would like to make a belated posting concerning my father, Kenneth M. Sprague, 2LT, 4th Platoon, L Co., 301st INF, who passed away on 4 DEC 1986, in Tampa, FL. 
He is interred at Bay Pines National Cemetery in Pinellas Co., FL.

Subject: Howard John YODER 

Howard John YODER, son of John Z Yoder and Ella Rupp Yoder was born December 4, 1920,in Wauseon, Ohio.  He
was the 6th of  ten children, the second of  two sons.   He married Anna Frances Beams of Mac, KY, Dec. 25, 1941.
He was a veteran of WWII, inducted into US Army Dec.8,1942, departing for Europe Aug.6,1944.He served in the 356 Field Artillary of the 94th Infantry participating in the Northern France, Ardennes, Rhineland, and Central Europe Campaigns.  He was discharged Oct. 17, 1945 and received the EAME Theater Ribbon with 4 Bronze Stars. 

He was a farmer as well as owner of the Sohio Service Station at the Ohio Turnpike Exit 3 until his retirement due to heart disease in 1969.  He moved to Delta Ohio in 1985.  He died July 8, 1988, age 67 years.
He is survived by his wife Frances, twin daughters Anita Dusseau of Toledo and Leta Sullins of Fremont,IN, sons Jeffrey Yoder of Wauseon and Gregory Yoder of Worthington OH, 6 grandchildren, sisters Dorothy Archambeau, Toledo, Virginia Strawn, Akron, and Margaret Zimmerman, Wauseon.

I thought you might be interested in kowing that Interstate 94 outside of Battle Creek,MI (location of Fort Custer) has 2 signs honoring the 94th Infantry.

Subject: Edmund Perry Sgt. HQ Co. 1st batallion 376th 

My dad Edmund Perry Sgt. HQ Co. 1st batallion 376th infantry regiment passed away in'
1964.  He served during WWII he did his basic training in Biloxi MS.  I am looking for anyone who might have known him.  He and my divorced when I was two years old and have never seen a picture of him.
