Subject: Co "B"302d Date: Sun, 16 Mar 2003 Sir, My dad was in the above infantry and got his orders the day the war ended to be released. He is now ninety five and we have about 10 pictures that were taken near and on that day depicting a few of his comrades. As I understand it there be only a few from his company that survived the Bulge. Maybe someone would have use for these pictures. I have scanned them and they would be available for those who might have need. My dad is Arthur J. Fernandez, Sr, 34890176. He has been remembered in the New Orleans WWII memorial by a brick in the floor of the main entrance. He is now in an assisted living home in LaPlace Louisiana. Attached here are three more photos
from Company B of the 302d. There wasn't information about who these guys
were with my dad. I do know that he lost quite a few of his buddies before
the war ended.
![]() Feel free to contact me at any time via the email route. Best regards, Arthur Jr . |
