Date: Sun, 10 Mar 2002 Subject: My father (Fred H. Hoffman) I'm so glad that there is a website
preserving the memory of the 94th infantry. My father (Fred H. Hoffman)
aiways talked of being in Germany and Czech region, along with seeing Bob
Hope. He also said that the only thing that took him out of combat temporarily
was the mumps (if I remember right). We still have his uniform along with
letters and his scorebook from the rifle range. I was always so proud when
I studied History in school knowing that I had a father who actually was
in it. He passed away on Feb. 26th, 1994, but he is still remembered by
people who live in Alexandria, La.

From: Clint Wolf click to email me Subject: Frankie Mullin see obituary I was wanting to get in touch with someone
that served with my grandfather Frankie Mullin. He just recently
passed away and I found some photographs he had from the war. I was
saddened by this because he had never talked about the war to us grandkids.
If someone could send me a story of serving with my grandfather it would
be greatly appreciated click to email
me. I would also like to thank those who served. I feel
you don't get the credit you deserve. You put your life on the line

To: <94thSearch@haruth.com> Subject: 1960s Army Base Boston History Date: Tue, 5 Mar 2002 18:14:01 -0500 X-Mailer: Microsoft Outlook Express 5.50.4807.1700 I am trying to reconstruct my reserve
records and can not remember the
designation of my last unit. I had
been in the 307th M.P. Btn at the Boston
Army Base from 1956 to aprox.1960.
The 307th was disbanded and I was
reassigned to an Artillery company
at the Army Base until 1964. I believe it
was part of the 94th. I did one
summer camp at Ft. Drum NY with this unit.
Do you have any history of a
Reserve Artillery Company .The National
Personnel Records in St. Louis were
destroyed in a fire in 1973 and my last
assignment may only be available from
the Boston organizations records. I
would appreciate any help or advise
you can supply.
