Hello: 
I am trying to locate information about those who served with my grandfather, Franklin Ross Chancey, in Company C of the 319th Engineer Combat Battalion, 94th Infantry Division.

Shortly before he passed, my grandfather gave me a German flag that he captured during the war. It is signed by 36 men, all presumably from Co. C of the 319th. I would like to find out what happened to these men during and after the war.

My father, William G. Kenney was honorably discharged from WWII as a Major with the 94th Infantry Division - European Theater, Headquarters.  He passed away quite a few years ago.  I recently have come across his discharge papers which reminded me of the medals that he was presented while serving in the Army. 

Does anyone know of him?  He never talked much about the war.  I am just wondering if anyone served with him that could tell me a little more about his time in WWII.

I'm not sure but maybe it was you who asked about two 94th'ers who were on/in  the list in my town, Camarillo, CA.

Hirsh:          I did find him but only his widow remains alive. She still lives at 4206 Village #4, Camarillo, CA. 93010 Phone: (805) 482-0543. They moved to Camarillo (Liesure Village) about 15 years ago from Pennsylvania.  H. Hirsh passed away five years ago at the age of 80. She mentioned he was in the "301st". Apparently she has a hard cover/bound edition of the 94th Division history and was at one of the early reunions of the division. I told her I was pretty young then but rember being at a reunion and meeting General Malony 

You may remember I'm the son of the 94th Division's dental officer, Major Charles P. Scudder.  I do remember dad mentioning names like: Peirpont, Swope, Shuttleworth   and Zwicker. These were probably 94th HQ staff. I do believe that Pierpont (Lt. Col. I think - from Owasso, Michigan)  was the Division I. G.

I was wondering how I could find out information on my great-uncle Lester N. Turben
I don't know what regiment he served in , all I have from him is His I.D card  and medals.  His card does not have his regiment on it, just Lester N. Turben 36288435 Private First Class dated July 11, 1944 and on the back Is an Identification number 108707. I was wondering if you could help me or tell me where to look to find this information I know he was in the 94th because of his patch and medals I also know he was a Medic.  It would be greatly appreciated if you or someone could help.

I would like to know if anyone knew of Lester N. Turben he served in the 94th and I know he was a medic. It would be greatly appreciated by me if I could find out any information about Lester and the 94th.

     My uncle was KIA and listed on your website.  I am looking for anyone who would have known him or served with him.  Can you help?  Also, I was told a book was written on the 94th, Can you tell me the name and who wrote it?
