If anyone has information

I was wondering how I might find information on where my father served in WWII.  I know he served with the 94th Infantry Division, was wounded somewhere in France, and received a combat infantry badge, a purple heart and two battle stars.

His name was Stephen S. Slaton.  While he is still alive, he has Ahlsheimers (sp).   I know, I know, I should have started my search a bit earlier.

I have expanded my family's WWII website and added a section decicated to the veterans of the 94th Infantry and other units that my family served with. I am looking for more veterans stories to post on the pages. I would need a short paragraph detailing the veterans story and unit, and a picture for the page. I would appreciate it if you could post this on your bulleting board, also if you could forward this to the editor of the attack magazine.

I am looking for anyone who might have known John Schairer.

If anyone knows of my Dad, his nickname was "Boot Hill" because he lived just south of Dodge City Kansas in a town of Mullenville, and later on moved to Bucklin, Kansas. He then moved to Great Bend, Kansas later on in life, passing away in 1982. Please let me know if he still has any buddies left who are still alive and know him. Thanks for your consideration.
